Rev. Madden and her family are all native Kansans. Pastor Angela was born in Wichita.  Jack Scott, her husband of 16 years, was born here in Winfield, and their 6 year old son, Major Everett Scott was born in Pratt.  She graduated from Northwest High, Wichita State University (with a degree in International Studies and a Minor in French), Washburn Law School and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  Her first call was to serve the General Assembly as an Associate for Ecumenical and Mission Partnership. Rev. Angela has preached around the world--in places like Lebanon and Egypt! She was Pastor of Pratt Presbyterian Church for four years and First Presbyterian Church Willoughby, Ohio before coming back to Kansas. Her International Studies background and experiences as a Young Adult Mission Volunteer bring us a global perspective. She has served as Moderator of the Presbytery of Southern Kansas in 2009 and Chair of the Council in 2010; and has also chaired the Presbytery's Committee on Church Order for 2 years and is a member of the Presbytery Council. Their family has welcomed a Golden Retriever named 'Monk' and 2 rag-doll cats named Pinky and Cali.
