Paula Steinbacher is Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministries of First Presbyterian Church.  Paula is a long time resident of Arkansas City and a graduate of Sterling College.   She and her husband have two children.  Paula has been involved in youth ministry for 20 years and brings a great deal of excitement and energy to the program.  Paula has a passion for sharing Christ with young people and seeing them grow in their faith.  Paula is also pursuing her Master of Divinity degree from Philips Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Don Phillip Gibson, Organist

Don Phillip Gibson is Organist for First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Gibson is an extremely gifted musician and also plays other instruments. Don is a doctor in Winfield where he has lived most of his life. Don is involved in several organizations and music societies.

 

 

 

 

Jim Banks is the Treasurer of First Presbyterian Church. 

 

 
Lorraine Barrett is Administrative Assistant.  Lorraine is a transplant from Connecticut and has an Associate's Degree as a Legal Assistant from Quinnipiac University.  Her husband, Bob, is attending seminary and is the full-time pulpit supply at Caldwell Presbyterian Church.  Lorraine and Bob have a daughter attending Southwestern College and a son who will be a senior in high school.  In her spare time Lorraine enjoys crocheting & knitting and is currently organizing a prayer shawl ministry here at First Presbyterian.  She is also an avid reader and enjoys gardening.  Lorraine is very active in her home church, First Presbyterian in Arkansas City, through her participation as a liturgist, working with the Five Loaves Ministry, and helping with Presbyterian Women's events.
 
 
Robbie Banks, Minister of Music Robbie Banks is Minister of Music. Robbie uses her creativity and music talents in leading the adult chancel choir and adult hand bell choir as well as supervising the youth choir and youth hand chime choir. Robbie grew up in western Kansas. She graduated from Southwestern College with a degree in Music Education. Robbie has a private studio with piano, voice, and string students. She belongs to the Kansas Music Educators Association, the Walnut Valley Music Teachers, National Music Teachers Association, and the National Association of String Teachers. Her hobbies include sleeping, quilting, reading, and traveling.
