Christian Education is an important aspect of First Presbyterian Church. In the Fall of 2004, we started a new model for children's Sunday School called Rotation Workshop. The K-5th grade classes study a scripture verse and message from the Bible for the entire month -- experiencing God's Word through drama, Bible-skills, art, storytelling, audio/visual and more! Classrooms have a new look and children are enjoying learning with the theme Heroes of the Faith.
There are also classes for Pre-K, youth, young adults and older adults in addition to Sunday School classes that meet at 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.
During the summer,Kids of the Kingdom meets every Wednesday during the months of June and July from 1-3 p.m. Kids of the Kingdom is for kids 3 years old through 5th grade. We have a lot of fun, food, and crafts.
